Nana is from a post-apocalyptic world where monsters called the Aragami run amok devouring everything in their path. Much like the other younger generation in the world, Nana has picked up the occupation of being a God Eater, wielding weapons called "God Arc" to defeat the Aragami. The God Arc have been developed based off of what the Aragami are composed of, the oracle cells.

Nana is part of the specialized God Eater unit called the Blood. As a God Eater, she wields the Boost Hammer god arc, which enables her to dash quickly into close proximity with the enemy to dish out heavy attacks with the hammer.

Aside from her regular God Eater abilities, Nana also possesses a Blood Arts that enables her to provoke the nearby Aragami. Along with her above-average stamina, she takes on the role of a tank within the group.

In the Plus Ultra universe, Nana's Blood Power takes on as her Quirk as the name "Provoke," where her sweat will cause those who are affected by her quirk will find themselves starting to lose focus on anything at hand and only on her.

Her quirk will be most effective in an enclosed area, while the least effective in an open area with rapid air circulation.
